I'm in drabbling mode, and in such, I have written two gift fics for a couple of my dear friends. However, I would like to do this for all of those on my friends list. You're all deserving of something special since I can't give most of you physical presents that you can hold in your hand, but if a small piece of work that I wrote can bring a smile to your face, then that's all I want. ^_^ So here's what I want you to do:
Give me a fandom (I'm providing a list of those I'm familiar with below)
Choose a character, set of characters, or a pairing
Give me a prompt
Please keep pairing requests as het only (I can't really do anything else)
Be sensible with your requests (don't request a lemon or citrusy content)
Give me time ^_^
Here's a list of fandoms I'm familiar with and can probably write something in!
InuYasha
Yu Yu Hakusho
Full Metal Alchemist
Wolf's Rain - haven't tried this in ever, man o.O
Stargate SG 1 - If you want something from here, be specific about what season, and if you can, what episode you're referring to. I haven't seen past Season 7, so you'll have to try to stay with the original cast, if ya can.
Star Wars - Avoid the books if you can, 'cept the Jedi Apprentice series. I read up to book nine, but didn't get to ten.
Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children - Note, this is only the movie, and not the game. You remember my new policy on this fandom.
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2 - Never tried this particular fandom, but... er, maybe?
Kingdom Hearts Series
Or, if you want, I can just write you a poem that's not set in any fandom, because I love poetry. It'd be fun either way, so I hope you guys all decide to participate! ^_^ Now, for the gift fics!

Prayer
The room glowed a warm shade of amber, her pale green waves of hair shielding her tearful expression as she wept aloud. It was before this altar that she heard that many great wonders could be accomplished, so she pleaded in sobs to a deity she wasn’t certain existed – but she was willing to sacrifice any sort of pride she had to look for a hope in finding her brother.
Yukina’s hands were pressed hard onto the floor as she cried, the tears coming so fast her eyes throbbed with tension and misery. She could feel the blood pulse rapidly behind her ruby iris’, threatening to make her eyes emerge from their sockets the anxiety of never solving this mystery was so terrible. Why wouldn’t her prayers be answered? Why couldn’t she find him?
“Why?!” she screamed, voice strangled as another sob came from her dry throat, “Why won’t you show him to me? If you really do want happiness for your people, then please, please bring my brother to me! All I wish is to tell him I love him!”
The wax of the candelabrum before her dripped down slowly, as if to say it shared her pain and understood it like no one else could. She wondered for a brief moment in time if it was to represent the tears of this deity she could not see or touch, and deep within her soul, she hoped it was. If this great one cared so much, then perhaps he would finally grant her only true wish. Even if it would only be for a moment, it would all be worth it.
“Please… I just want to tell him I love him…” she repeated, softer this time as her weeping calmed itself to a gentle lamentation.
Letting a small smile that was hidden by the locks of her hair appear on her face, she looked directly at the golden cross behind the altar, its soft yellow tones reflecting her hopeful face. Closing her eyes, she spoke her next words with the loving voice she always used, but with a strong hint of confidence, “Brother – I love you.”
Sharp red eyes turned away, black bangs shading the heartbroken and torn expression from anyone’s view. He was unaware that his reflection was shining perfectly in the cross on the opposite end of the chapel, and Yukina’s smile grew upon seeing him, again, unknown to his knowledge.
Finally, she folded her hands in reverence and prayed once more before turning to leave, “Let my brother know I love him… I love him so much. Thank you.”
“Amen.”

Serenade
“Oh this is the night – it’s a beautiful night…” an obnoxiously loud tenor boasted from outside her window. Larxene threw her pillow over her head, clamping it down against her ears in an effort to block out the disturbing sounds. Why? Why did she have to be the only female in this ridiculous group of scumbags seeking to regain their hearts by any means necessary?
“Look at the skies – they have stars in their eyes on this lovely bella notte.” He sang, somewhat softer this time, but his sitar was not helping the atmosphere.
Good Lord, it was after one in the morning – didn’t he have an internal clock or anything to go by, or was he strictly adrenaline-powered? Larxene growled into her bed, half-tempted to throw something heavy at the wuss for an Organization member. Come to think of it, there was that rather large dresser in the corner that she had absolutely no use for…
But she reasoned to try something a little more tactful first, “Demyx, shut up!!” she screeched, sitting up in bed, thankful that she couldn’t see the look on his face, for her window was on the other end of the room. Of course, she just had to leave said window open on the rare occasion that she ever did so.
Dismissing her angry yell, considering that she didn’t threaten to electrocute him ‘till kingdom come, Demyx went on with his song, “Side by side with your loved one, you’ll find –“
“You’ll be finding your head on a very sharp stick in the morning if you don’t leave me alone, Demyx!” she shouted again, delighting herself in the clever threat in the meantime.
When he refused to stop, Larxene snarled and stomped over to her open window, snatching the first object that came into sight to throw at him – her precious book Marquis de Sade. She could always make him find her a brand new copy as his punishment for rustling her temper this warm evening in Castle Oblivion. Finally, she got to the window, glaring down at his smirking features as he continued to sing, “The night will weave its magic spell when the one you love is near -!”
Larxene promptly chucked the book at him, hitting him directly in the face and shutting him up in a hurry. “If that’s damaged, you owe me a new one.” She hissed angrily, by far disturbed that the punk had dared to keep her awake this long into the night.
Pulling the book off of his face, several pages bent from impact, he frowned up at her, not quite equally frustrated. “Pfft, you’re the one that threw it! It’s your own fault it’s all messed up now!”
“If you weren’t here in the first place, I wouldn’t have thrown it at you, and if you don’t go now, I’ll find more things of mine for you to replace – unless you don’t want to keep all ten of your fingers.” A malicious grin formed on her features now, warning the musical Nobody down below that she meant business, and that she would back up her threats if the requirements were not met for his departure. “Go away and you’ll get by with only replacing the book.”
Sighing heavily, Demyx’s frown turned into a faint, but hopeful smile as he looked up at her pajama-clad figure, pale blonde hair adorning her head like a quaint crown. All in all, he thought she looked magnificent – she was practically perfect, minus the sadistic attitude. He could turn her around… somehow.
“I can start removing your fingers from here, you know…” Larxene prodded, grin from before returning to a familiar scowl.
“Okay, okay! I’ll go, but I have one more thing I wanted to say before I leave!” He pleaded, waving his hands back and forth to stave off her anger for a few more precious seconds with his twisted angel.
Folding her arms over her chest as she huffed, Larxene blew a stray strand of hair out of her eyes and spoke, “You’ve got five seconds.”
“That’s all I need!” Demyx cheered, toothy smile in full-force on his face.
“One…”
“Ack, okay! I love you and goodnight, my precious angel. I do hope my serenade will give you pleasant dreams this evening!”
“Five.” As she finished, she launched a lightning bolt his direction, sending him skittering for his life, nearly forgetting his sitar in the process. Smirking proudly to herself once he was gone, Larxene curled back into bed, but found that she was wide awake now, hearing faint sounds in the distance – painfully familiar sounds, at that. However this time, they were so far away that she didn’t mind, and with a reluctant sigh, she shut her eyes and willed herself to listen to the last of the song before she would drift off to sleep for the night.
“…On this night, and the heavens are right… on this lovely bella notte.”
