First to report, I changed departments at work a few weeks ago; I'm a Home associate now and I love it! I get to work one-on-one with my customers, provide insight, and I'm learning new things every day. It's really a lot of fun, but the best thing is I'm finally feeling accomplished after two years of working for JCP. The work I do is rewarding, and my customers appreciate my help. This is such a huge burst of confidence!

Second on the list; I've restarted my original story completely. Trinity Kingdom is officially no more, and has been re-vamped into something much easier to both write and read. It is, for the moment, entitled Coded, based on the original images in my head five years ago when I started coming up with the story. It's not as tragic and Reia's not as much of a wuss anymore. 13thleprechaun is providing valuable insight for me in shaping the characters better and helping me get the plot going the right direction. I have one chapter written and ready to go, but I'm still debating posting it so early, since I may want to save it for an actual publisher.

Lastly, I saw this video on Facebook earlier tonight and I died. Enjoy!

The layout, part of my profile, and some of my icons have been epically changed. I feel so CREATIVE. I wanna write now, and it's like... uber late. Crap. I have to work tomorrow/later.

Well daggone it, so much for getting a good night's rest. I got home at 1:30 this morning, took a bath to relax, and here I am - still awake. Youtube has been my friend for the last three hours. ^_^;; Sucks that I gotta go back to work in just seven hours. Ugh.

I do hope the Christmas season is not over for some of you, as it is something that should continue to be celebrated for the days to come. It may seem like the festivites are over and done with, but keep those lights up for a few more days and finish up them leftovers! ^_^ I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and will make a resolution to start out 2008!

My Christmas, though very tiring and more like just a day off from work, was quite nice and family-centric as usual. This year, it was just me, Dad, Mom, Chad and my grandmother. Sacha Lynn and Mackenzie stayed up north due to her boss being on maternity leave right now. I got many nice gifts, mostly clothes and Bath & Body Works stuffs (which I'm very grateful to have, since most of the B&BW stuff I had from up north got ruined in the heat). I also got a few things from outside the family, too!

stuffany got me some yummy gourmet coffee! OMG! I will so totally use that in the morning before I go to work! Thank you!!!!

13thleprechaun gave me her FF7 game, since I have yet to sit down and beat it, along with two plushies; Shippuden!Shikamaru and Axel! So that gives me a total of four plushies; two flamers (Hiei & Axel) and two lazy bums (Yusuke & Shikamaru). Lawl. Thanks again, Shizu!

And my dear Cas got me the One Piece wallscroll I wanted that has Ace, Luffy and Shanks in all their hot glory! It's presently draped over my dresser, but will soon be hung up on the wall once I have the proper equipment to do so ^_^ Thank you, Cas! It's awesome!

( Despite all the warm afterglow of Christmas, there's something troubling me at this hour of the night... )

It really doesn't help that I've been watching this video about the Going Merry's viking funeral. *sniff* And it was such a good ship...

Secondly - go love on theladyfeylene, would ya please? Poor girl's had the worst week imaginable, so go give her some lovins. I'm sure she'll appreciate it ^_^

I went and joined Facebook last night before going to bed: tracked down my girl, Stephanie again, along with a TON of my Bethesda buddies. I sent out requests like mad, so we'll see what responses I get ^_^

And now: about church and choir. As usual, choir was AWESOME, because for some reason, the sound was bigger and bolder this morning, and thus it created a totally killer worship time. I got so into it and had a great time with my friends/family up there. One of the songs we did was Nicole C. Mullen's "Redeemer", and thanks to the sweet soloist that is Susan, we sounded spectacular. I would dare to say that this has been our best Sunday yet as a group!

To add more icing to that cake, I wasn't expecting a big turn out today for the group, and wasn't counting on Leroy being in attendance. I found it surprising how two weeks away from your church family can really take its toll on you, 'specially when you practically cry you're so happy to see everyone. lol After visiting with my second daddy, and adopting another in Kenny, I had a moment to myself when I just cried tears of joy for being back with them all to worship the Lord. I told you all that I was extra emotional now for some reason, but regardless, I'm so blessed to have a family in Christ that worships for the same sole purpose. Hard to find that these days.

DOMG! Today's Bill's birthday, too! He's the same age as my sister, she's just about a month older. WOOOOOOOOOOOOT! GO BILL!!

Had to get on Andres' case this morning on the way to Sunday school since he didn't show up for choir two hours prior - he slept in and he lives five minutes or so from the church. I playfully reprimanded him by saying: "I had to get up at 6:30, stumble around in the dark to get ready, practically fly down 98 from over a half hour away to get here while working on two hours of sleep, and you slept IN?! Andres, you should be ashamed of yourself." Again, I was only teasing him, since I don't get to do so very often... lol

Sunday school was great, too! We talked about the importance of prayer in that we should intercede with intesity, never letting the throne of God stay silent. There's always something to pray about, so we took fifteen minutes from class to just pray as a group for anything that came to mind; surgeries, trips, family problems, and of course just simple praises for the blessings we have. If you don't have a prayer time that lasts for more than at least five minutes, I stronly encourage you to start one with a group so that you can experience prayer the way it's supposed to be ^_^

I would upload more, but I have to compress the files on another computer, and I haven't gotten around to that yet. The vid's just simply me and Tiff being dorks for twenty-eight seconds, and you can't really tell the difference in my hair, since it's tied back in pigtails. I am waging a war against Writer's Block and am losing badly. I needed to recharge so I raided AMV.org, found a vid that made me laugh like mad, uploaded it to youtube, and am now pining after a java chip frappucino from Starbucks. Anybody wanna dish out inspiration of any kind? Like a paragraph, or a miniature scene of Roy x Riza heavy fluff, or AU Hiei angst? lol Meh, the Telle's brain is dying at an alarming rate.

I wrote a tiny drabble to satisfy a random Yusuke x Yukina bunny last night. I posted it only to 100_women because I thought I'd get shot if I posted it here. lol *hides*

Spread some inspiring love, darn it!

Since I can't seem to get inspired to write anything fandom centric, I turned to my original idea that I've had for two years. I started writing it right before I moved to Florida, was unhappy with it, pitched the plot and started from scratch. I started writing it again last fall. Hated the beginning and my flowery dialogue (I was trying to mimic Tolkien, it seemed), so I tossed that one, too. Now, over a year later I'm finding myself desperate to start this thing again.

But I never could figure out how to start the dern thing. I had so many scatter-brained ideas that I couldn't come up with a final solution, when it finally occurred to me while listening to my small collection of Within Temptation songs.

So, I'm proud to say that I have finally started writing my original fic, which stands right now at four pages (and counting! lol). I'm insanely pleased with how easy the beginning was, considering how much trouble I've had with nailing it down. 13thleprechaun is probably just as happy to hear this as I am, because she's known about my plans for this story from the start. In fact, she helped me conjure some of it! Many love points to her! ^_^

Now, I need some input from you guys on a name. I have all of my main characters set up with names and backgrounds, but one character I think I need to change their name. I would really appreciate some suggestions from you guys, and if you can, give me name meanings, too! That often is a deciding factor for me. lol (The name I wanna change is in bold)

Reia - Female, leading character
Reiko - Male, main antagonist, Reia's older brother
Michael - Male, main character, Reia's father figure
Brandon - Male, main character, Reia's guard/love interest
Lily - Female, main character, blind and Michael's love interest
Gabriel - Male, supporting character, Michael's rival
Alexander - Male, supporting character (comes in very late in the story - this was the name, Shizu!)

And of course, there are many other characters involved, too, but these are just the main ones. I wanted to give you the names so that you wouldn't accidentally suggest one of those ^_^ Sure hope I'm not boring y'all... o.O

I miss my cleric_stormer. *sniff* Anybody wanna fix his truck for free? The dern thing just keeps causing him more and more trouble. I'm starting to like the idea of him getting the bike now...

On a very random note, I'm becoming quite skilled at SW Battlefront II, in that earlier in one seven minute session I got twenty-seven head-shots, among other life threatening injuries. lol Me and my sniper rifle are very good friends. ^_^ He he, Daniel would be proud. "Telle is god-like!"
